I didn't set out to become a coach. A crisis made me one.
For years I lived the story many people dream of an award-winning serial entrepreneur, building multimillion-pound businesses across several industries. I believed in my resilience. I trusted my instincts. Life was good. Until it wasn't.
When the pandemic hit, my world shifted overnight. Contracts were cancelled. Debts mounted. The safety nets I thought were secure quietly dissolved. One night, past eleven, a demand notice arrived giving me days - not weeks - to repay a sum I didn't have. The thought that surfaced wasn't a strategy. It was quieter, and far more frightening: "Maybe I should just walk away from all of it."
I didn't lack knowledge. I'd read the books, taken the courses. And still nothing moved. I'd make a decision and unmake it an hour later. I stopped trusting my own judgement, because my judgement had, it seemed, led me here.
"The battle wasn't with the economy, my creditors, or my circumstances. It was with myself with my mind, my beliefs, and the stories I was telling myself."
What ultimately saved my business and my sense of who I was wasn't a better strategy. It was a shift in perspective. A single, small change in the way I was seeing the whole situation. From that shift, everything downstream began to change: the choices I could see, the actions I was willing to take, and the results those actions produced.
That shift became the seed of The Loop and the S.H.I.F.T. Method -
the framework behind everything I teach today.
Why I coach now
I help people meet life's inevitable challenges with strength, clarity, and confidence. Pain, change, and uncertainty are part of every life but suffering through them blindly doesn't have to be. You won't find quick fixes in my work, only the real work of building what matters most: the inner system that lets you live true, even when life gets hard.
